QCA has enjoyed an excellent placement record over the years. An integral part of the Programme, summer projects are designed to provide students an opportunity to put their learning into practice, while enabling companies to use quality managers-in¬the-making for real-life short term assignments.

Summer Placement:
Summer Internships form an integral part of the MBA & BBA courses at Quantum Career Academy. At the end of the first year, the students have gained valuable insights in the functional areas of Marketing, Finance, Economics, Organizational Behaviour and Information Technology, along with unique courses that serve to expand students' horizons and sensitize them to sociological, environmental and ethical issues they would encounter in the business environment. The courses are frequently updated keeping in pace with market trends and anticipating business' requirements.
After completion of the first year, the students spend 6 weeks of their summer with industry. The institute views summer training as an effective tool in enabling students to relate management theory to practice. It also helps the students make an informed career choice as, often decisions regarding the functional specialization and the type of organization they want to join are influenced by their summer internship.

Why Recruit Interns?

    • Summer interns are skilled manpower who are in a unique position to provide an objective and unbiased point of view about the organization's work processes.
    • Internships offer a distinct advantage over interview-based final recruitment as a method of evaluating potential employees. Pre-Placement Offers (PPO's) are often awarded to deserving candidates, and QCA's students have enjoyed a particularly special relationship with their recruiters in this regard.
    • The students also act as effective spokespersons for the organization on campus, spreading awareness about the company in general.

Recruitment Process:

The recruitment process for summer internship commences before 2nd semester exams. Companies can plan interaction with the students, either on any prior day or on the day they visit the campus for summer recruitment. Companies can choose any method suitable to them for selecting summer interns. Companies are encouraged to send us their requirements at least 15 days in advance. This will enable us to forward the resumes of interested candidates, and any other information that the organizations may require, before their visit to the campus. Since students are obliged to accept the first summer job offered to them, companies are requested to select students well in advance.
